The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel July 7th editorial, "A time to stay put", calls for an efficient, mullti-county MATC, more responsible to the taxpayers.
I am unsure if a large MATC can be efficient as it supports a top-heavy and over paid administration.
However, responsibility to those who pay the bills (The tax payers) could better be had by direct election of that school's Board Member by the People as we elect general school boards members throughout this State and, thus, eliminate the control of that school by political elitists and time servers..
The same general system of governance by the People should also apply to the UW non-system.
