A Multi-Layer Insult By Milwaukee JS

On June 30th The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel published (Page-2A) a "News Analysis" by a New York Times writer. Without regard to its content, that column represented a multi-layered insult.

First, it insulted that paper's staff by not going to them for such an analysis as there are certainly some very skilled writers with that company--Even if I often disagree with them.

Secondly, this was an insult to the people of this area and of Wisconsin by submission to an "foreign" author rather than the many knowledgeable authors among the Political Science professors and student run newspapers at our many colleges AND bloggers or other citizens of our State--Even if I would disagree with their positions on President Bush or any other matter.

Thirdly, there was a further insult to the readers by this further example of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's use of material from the Times, a newspaper which has become notorious for errors, bias and outright lies.
