The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's June 25th editorial ("Good-faith legislating") essentially calls for Wisconsin's Republicans to compromise on Wisconsin's budget and allow a massive tax increase. Perhaps, the Democrats should compromise and work towards a reduction in that budget--And hold their Party's leader, Governor Jim Doyle, to his "no tax increase" promises.
I also noted that the JS called the promises of the Republican Party as "blocking" the budget rather than a call for the Democrats to work towards common, beneficial, economic goals.
