Inconvenient Facts On Assaults On Police

The FBI led study "Violent Encounters: A Study of Felonious Assaults on Our Nation's Law Enforcement Officers" (I have been reliably informed) contains, within its 180-pages, a detailed examination of more than 40 such cases AND some very "inconvenient truths" about such crimes, TO WIT:
1. Not one of the guns used in such assaults was obtained
at a "gun show"; AND,
2. None of the attackers interviewed was hindered by any
gun control law of the US Government or any of the Several
States (An FBI investigator was quoted as saying. "They just
laughed at gun laws").

Other sources indicate that most obtaining of guns by those who use them in criminal activities are through friends or relatives OR "on the streets" and NOT at gun shows or from licensed gun dealers.

Therefore, the "politically correct" claims of some that gun shows are a "loop hole" for criminals' purchase of fire arms is NOT supported by any facts and such shows do NOT require further government controls and interference.
