Our Southern Borders And TREASON

United States Constitution, Article-III, Section-3: Section 3: "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court." (nb Boldface and underlining added)

There is nothing in that section as
requires that the enemies be: The forces of some, traditional nation; Or, such quasi-nations as ISIS (Or any other group of orthodox Muslims waging Jihad against the USA or its citizens; Or groups of bandits (eg As led by "Poncho" Villa who came across our unprotected Southern Border and ruined a New Mexico town and fought some US Army troops).

Yes, aiding those groups is, without doubt, Treason. But, I see no reason that those who are purposely poisoning, by smuggled illegal drugs, our fellow Americans should not also be designated as "
Enemies". I see no reasons why those who misuse their positions of power to sabotage efforts to secure our Southern border (Across which the vast majority of illegal drugs do come!) should not be charged with "TREASON".

Please specially note the bold-face and underlined portions of the above (Modified) definition of Treason as. most clearly, separated "levying war" from "
. . . in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort". Interfering with any President's acts to defend our Southern Border is giving "aid and comfort".
