THE Use Of Force Standard

There are now many who wish to set or reset the standard for the use-of-force---For police officers.

To my mind to set or not-set such standards is a matter for our democratically elected local/state legislators. The same is true for what those standards might be if, and only if, such are set.

For myself the below are the standards for those law-abiding Americans who are attacked by anyone "presenting

to them a clear-and-present danger of death or great bodily harm".

1. From the FBI, "Two to the chest and one to the head"; Or,

2. From the SEALs/SAS, "A 'double tap' to the head"; OR,

3. From the"Old Sarge", "Four inches with the point, twist and rapidly repeat; Or,

4. Like applications of other devices to cause the end-of-breathing by the attacking thugs.

Perhaps, it would be well for the cited officials to adopt these standards for those peace officers put in danger of death or great bodily harm.
