Persons/Groups Candidates For "Reparations "

 There has been demands for "reparations" for for the descendants of that local surplus of Black slaves sold to Whites by the Black governments/leaders of Sub-Saharan Africa.

I suggest that the following be a much more complete and exact list of such persons or groups as must be co-equal in the granting of "reparations".

1. Those Blacks who are NOT descended from Blacks immigrating into the USA after the effective end pf the importation of Slaves into the USA..

2. Those Americans of Japanese descent (ie Some of whom were native born citizens of the USA) who were forced into concentration camps during World War-II.

3. The descendants of those Jewish refugees who attempted to obtain refuge from NAZI genocide by traveling on the MV Saint Louis and, were (In 1939) rejected by the USA and were among those fewer who survived a return to Europe and Hitler's extermination camps.

4. Those Jews, Druze and Christians who have fled the terrors imposed by those true-believing Muslims who have been).inflicted by the waging of Jihad against them (And were NOT provided the favored treatment given to Muslims by the Administration led by Obama & Biden as is the sound basis for any "reparations"  to NOT include Muslims).

5. Those Americans of Chinese ancestry who were: "Imported" into the USA as "cheap laborers"; So grossly mistreated (ie Including being murdered) in California (And other parts of the USA" that the term "Chinaman's Chance" was invented to define "no chance at all"; Denied the opportunity to become citizens of the USA; Denied the civil rights provided our fellow citizens even if born in our Republic; Been the best example of immigrants overcoming such persecution, obtaining superior academic and other successes in the USA; And, have set an example of obeying our democratically-enacted laws to the extent that their part of our prison populations approaches Zero as does their rate of murdering each other.---AND, are the ongoing targets of racial prejudice and harm by such schools as Harvard University.(As continues to this day).

Testing the claims of such who request/demand such "reparations" must be closely examined by, unbiased and professional, geneticists and genealogists who are willing to "sign-off" and put their reputations at risk by their findings.

Educating Our Children About "Racism".

Very recently The Hill published (On-line) an offering by three academics touting the education of our children about "Racism".

I found their suggestions so interesting that I asked them the following questions.

1. Blacks murder each other many, many, times the rate at which Whites murder Whites and almost infinitely more often than those other people-of-color (ie Whose ancestry is in China, India, Korea and Japan) kill others of their own. Should this fact be a part of the "racism education" you support?
2. Black criminals select-out, on the basis of race, White victims as targets for their criminal attacks at a rate many, many, times the reverse. Must that fact be an essential part of the instruction you recommend?
3. The death of Minneapolis' George Floyd was a gross violation of his human and constitutional right. However, at the time of his death his body contained dangerous-and-illegal drugs. In fact, George Floyd was, by his purchase of those toxins, a supporter of those "dealers" who murder many hundred-of-thousands of other Blacks (And millions of People). In fact he was a "co-murderer"! Should that fact be exactly presented to our children?
4. The children of those other people-of-color are more successful in academic settings than gentile Whites and very much more so than Blacks. (That is also true for children from still traditional Jewish families".) This appears to be much more a matter of superior cultural norms than of income. Should that factual information also be a part the recommended "racism education".

Finding Facts & Justice RE" On-Campus Sexual Assaults

I am a veteran (Survivor?) of a 34-year career in Criminal Corrections. As such I have observed the investigations of many crimes (ie Including sexual assaults) AND both judicial-trials and administrative-hearings which determined guilt/innocence or, in the alternative, responsibility.

The best investigators were those police officers who were specially trained to perform such investigations (ie With "due regard" to the emotions of the persons claiming such assaults). A part of that excellence was based on those officers being neutral investigators-of-fact and NOT subjected to those biased by ideologies.

The best determiners of guilt OR innocence were such, judicial or administrative, hearings as were, likewise, conducted by neutral judges OR  (As I was) neutral hearing-examiners. In all such actions, the necessary acid, test was subjecting ALL witnesses to "Cross Examination".

Without such cross-examination any hearings degenerate to the tyrannical level of "Accusation Equals Guilt" as was the rule under Hitler and Stalin AND is the standard in such places as North Korea  and too many universities.

ALLOWING THE PRESENT SYSTEM TO CONTINUE IS TO ALLOW "SOME STUDENTS TO BE 'MORE EQUAL' THAN OTHER STUDENTS" IN THE MODEL DESCRIBED IN 1984.

Sexual assaults on such campuses, would best be dealt with in the same manner for such claimed crimes off-campus. This would move towards "EQUAL JUSTICE UNDER LAW".

The More Dangerous Pandemics

"Looking at the numbers" about the deaths and suffering caused by COVID-19 it appears that it is very much LESS harmful than the more dangerous epidemics discussed below.

THE VIOLENCE IN AND FROM THE PRC: Although the PRC might be described as a "Socialist" nation (ie Like Stalin's USSR) the pattern of its violence against is (ie Especially non-Han) peoples and all the world is much

more a clone/copy of traditional Chinese imperialism AND governance. 

The USA must admit that The PRC has been in a state-of-war against our

Republic for many decades and that war includes: Military threats AND actions; Sending corrupted and even poisonous products into our nation; Active economic warfare; Industrial and academic espionage; And, perhaps purposeful, control of the sources of the antibiotics needed to fight-off endemics, epidemics and pandemics.

Any citizen of the USA who aids that nation's attacks on the USA are guilty of TREASON within the meaning set by our Republic's Constitution.

At the least, the USA must: Expel all citizens or agents of the PRC in private (Industrial and other) and public (University and other) research programs or facilities; Make it a (Felony?) violation of The Law for corporations to share "Trade Secretes" with The PRC; Embargo all imports from The PRC which do not meet our public health requirements; AND, IMMEDIATELY, ON A WARTIME BASIS, MAKE PROVISIONS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF THE ABOVE NOTED BIOLOGICALS IN THE USA.

I must wonder if the "Chinese Virus" (ie COVID-19) came out of the secret "Biological Research" (ie "Biological Warfare"?) facility in Wuhan (Hubei Province) China.

ARMED CRIMINAL VIOLENCE: In the USA the murders, maimings and other sufferings inflicted by young, illegally armed, Black (And Latino?) thugs is far greater than the cited, new, virus (ie This includes such as caused by the 

criminal misuse of motor vehicles).

 The solution to that infection is:

1. NOT to disarm law-abiding citizens who can "put down" those carriers of that disease during those "golden minutes" before arrival and effective action by police/deputies (If, and only if, they are able to summon such assistance); And,

2. NOT to treat such good-and-armed citizens as presumed criminals when they exercise their lawful right to "keep and bear arms" and use deadly force in self-defense or the defense of innocent others.

Very basic to greatly limiting this disease requires:

3. The very public statements of political officials and other "leaders" that the vast majority of such crimes are inflicted by those Blacks who commit more crimes, more serious crimes and them more often than Whites and almost infinitely more so that those born in or ancestry is in China, India, Korea and Japan OR who come from traditional Jewish families;

4. The expressed-and-exercised public policy of police and prosecuting attorneys to assume that any-and-all, law-abiding (ie Lacking a prior record of convictions for violent crimes) is innocent of any crimes after using or threatening-the-use of deadly force in the face of such criminal conduct as "presents a clear-and-present danger of death or great bodily harm to others; And,

5. Perhaps, the commitment of The Bar to provide, on a pro bono basis, especially qualified attorneys to defend those good citizens

described above in those cases (Or jurisdictions) where they are presumed to be criminals and persecuted for exercising their, above cited, rights.

ISLAMIST VIOLENCE: Throughout the wider world and for the last 1400-years the true-believing followers of Islam have inflicted like, criminal, violence as extends far beyond that described above as it has led to: Actual genocide; The destruction of two-thousand year old communities; The forced exile and migration of millions (ie Being the primary source of this era's refugees); Physical enslavement of many; And, the sexual abuse of females---Some as young as nine years-of-age. These crimes are in strict obedience to the commands of that fellow Mohammed (Of Mecca and Medina). 

Very basic to countering this pandemic is the very public declaration, within and without the USA,by public, religious and academic leaders of:

6. The facts of those unalterable teachings;

7. And that treaties (Or like agreements) with Muslims are not binding on them if such interferes with obeying those commands or achieving

the ultimate goal of Islam---The universal control of all humanity under Muslim, male, rule.

"SOCIALIST" VIOLENCE: For the last hundred-or-so years there have been millions of humans murders, tortured and enslaved by "Socialists" who include such as Lenin, Stalin, Hitler and historic-and-current clones [I do not include the "People's Republic (sic) Of China as that nation's crimes are more a matter of traditional imperialism OR North Korea which is a case of insanity].

Basic to countering such "Socialists" are:

8. The very public declaration of the above-cited leaders that there has been no nation-wide "Socialism" without official murders (ie Up to genocide), deprivation of all civil rights (eg After disarming all citizens except the ardent supporters of the tyrannical-rulers) and a degeneration of "the quality of life" in such places (ie The Scandinavian nations are, at most, "Semi-Socialist" and now based on very active. capitalist, economies); And,

9. Maintaining those military forces AND economic practices fully capable of resisting the open and hidden aggression of "Socialists".

The Major "Actors" In Student Debt & "Forgiveness"

Student debt is multiplied-and-aggravated by the following.

1. The costs of maintaining top-heavy populations of overpaid administrators who are not involved in: At least half-time teaching; Or, such full-time research as benefits The People (And is NOT only a matter of academic's "hobby horses"; Or, directly involved in library services to students or such faculty as cited above or public safety or grounds-and-building maintenance.

2, The costs providing remedial education to those students who are not prepared for university level "work" at entry into universities or colleges.

3. The costs of supporting faculty and students in such courses/programs which cannot be scientifically (ie Valid & Reliable) demonstrated to provide measurable benefits to The People.

If, and only if, we would expend tax-moneys to "forgive" student debt, it must be limited to those graduates who:
4. Do, in fact, provide measurable benefits to all (ie Those with degrees in STEM and medical arts programs); Or,
5. Serve our fellow Americans by full-time employment in such dangerous duty as peace-officers or fire-fighters or in combat arms of our military forces.

Geography, Division & Western Civilization

Once the Age-Of-Migration ended in Europe (c 900 AD), that part of the Euro-Asian land mass began a period of divisions into, very many, political units divided, often by geography, who were in often constant wars (And other forms of competition)..It may be that age did not end until c 1945..

That age was marked by:
1. Intense development of weapons, strategy and tactics, from the level of "craft" to that supported by engineering-and-science as NOT seen in other parts of the World which was typically dominated by large political or ideological blocks (eg China, Islam); And,
2. Intense development of ideas,from theology to science, as supported by logic (nb Try and work your way through such Medieval works as St. Thomas' Summa Contra Gentiles or Bertrand Russell's far more recent The Principles Of Mathematics) which led to the advances in Medicine and other forms-of-engineering which erupted out of real universities [ie Not found outside of Europe,Canada, Israel and the USA except as, sometimes pale, copies AND to like, idea generating, military establishments in more recent times (eg The science of epidemics as rooted in US military research c 1900)].

I may well be that the "Nationalism", in Europe, the USA and Israel, has supported those developments.

I am sorry to note that the cited level of idea-generation and foundation-of-logic is being destroyed  or limited, those Western Universities, by "political correctness"---Which is neither based on logic nor on such ideas as are subject to scientific (ie Reliable and valid) tests.

PRC's Attack On Academic Freedom And Our Security In USA

If, and only if, the Administration, the USA's industries, universities and others are truly serious about stopping "Intellectual Theft" by agents of the "Peoples Republic (sic) Of China", then the following steps must be taken:

1. The visas of all citizens of the PRC employed by or attached to public universities' research programs must be cancelled; And,

2. The visas of all citizens of the PRC employed by any company having any contracts with the Government of the USA must be cancelled.

I have no doubts but that university officials, whose schools receive huge tuition and other payments (Directly or indirectly; And, perhaps, personally) from the PRC, will bleat out such phrases as "Academic Freedom" to defend those agents of the PRC committing espionage or universities who prefer the cited cash flow more than the security of Americans OR real Academic Freedom. 

My response to reports of student-agents of the PRC using violence in the USA is: Treat them as only other violent criminals and use such (Even lethal) force as is necessary to immediately and effectively halt their illegal actions. [Of course, this is easier in those parts of the USA where the right to "keep and bear arms" is honored and protected.]

Psychiatrists, Politics & The "Goldwater Rule"

I, VERY MUCH, OPPOSE ANY WEAKENING OF THE "GOLDWATER RULE" AS IT REPRESENTS YET ANOTHER DETERIORATION OF ETHICAL STANDARDS AMONG TOO MANY PHYSICIANS.

A PROBLEM WITH THE GOLDWATER RULE IN PSYCHIATRIC ETHICS.

The Goldwater rule is the informal name for a precept of medical ethics promulgated by the American Psychiatric Association. It forbids psychiatrists from commenting on individuals' mental state without examining them personally and being authorized by the person to make such comments.^[1] The rule has no official name; it is simply Section 7.3 of the APA's ethics principles.^[2]

The issue arose in the 1960s when Fact magazine published the article "The Unconscious of a Conservative: A Special Issue on the Mind of Barry Goldwater." The rule itself reads:

On occasion psychiatrists are asked for an opinion about an individual who is in the light of public attention or who has disclosed information about himself/herself through public media. In such circumstances, a psychiatrist may share with the public his or her expertise about psychiatric issues in general. PARADOXICAL INTENTIONS AND HISTORICAL CONUNDRUMS

It is interesting to explore what conservative psychiatrists, (If some could be found?), would have opined about’ Lyndon Johnson’s conscience of a Liberal’ ,  like Barry Goldwater’s  Conscience of a Conservative was analyzed. The majority of psychiatrists in the FACT MAGAZINE article thought Goldwater was dangerous. Johnson who was thought to be safer for America by psychiatrists actually escalated America’s tragic involvement in the Vietnam War. Would Goldwater have been more conservative about escalation in Vietnam? I think so.

Should no psychiatric perspective or opinion be available about prospective candidates for president of the United States?  The liberal and conservative presses appropriately and sometimes inappropriately , investigate details about a presidential candidates family background, education or lack of it, and the writings offered by candidates for president. Many candidates write books about themselves and their prospective policies, etc. If journalists can speculate as amateur “Shrinks”, why can’t psychiatrists offer their spectrum of opinions?

If a psychiatrist has seen a candidate professionally, he or she must of course adhere to the ethic of confidentiality.  But, it seems unfortunate for the electorate to be devoid of perspectives from psychiatry about the candidates. Mature psychiatric observations about candidates for president would be of great value especially in light of the gray-hair- promoting- stresses the presidency brings and the importance the position holds for America.

How could opinions about the candidates by psychiatrists be accomplished?  One domain of difficulty is that in general, psychiatrists tend to be liberal Democrats or liberal Republicans. In fact, it seems at times that some psychiatrists automatically assume that it is inherently “therapeutic” to be liberal politically. Conservatives are subtly or not- so- subtly,  assumed  to be cold, unempathic  and therefore, “anti-therapeutic”.

One approach to this dilemma would be to have a psychiatric journal or magazine survey a sample of psychiatrists who would agree to disclose whether they were liberal, independent, or conservative. They could offer their observations and opinions about the candidates’ strengths, possible blind spots, and vulnerabilities. An equal number of conservative, independent,  and liberal opinion holders could be published.

The American Psychiatric Association should reframe the Goldwater Rule so psychiatrists can offer informed opinion about presidential candidates.

SUGGESTED ADDITION TO THE GOLDWATER RULE (Section 7.3 of the APA  Ethics Principals.)

The process of electing an American president is so important that voters would benefit from having mature observations, opinions and perspectives by psychiatrists.  Such discussion must be clearly labeled as OPINION in the media. Of course, if a presidential candidate has been seen professionally by a psychiatrist in private consultation this situation would be covered as usual by section 7.3,  as would be the case with all other public figures.

Why Indian Winners Of 2019 Spelling Bee?

wbSeven of the eight co-winners of this year's national "Spelling Bee" were of Indian (South Asian) ancestry. They appear to have "dark" complexions.

Why?

Because they subscribe to that same and superior culture as has been the general guide or standard for those of Chinese ancestry.

The core of that superior model includes:  Dedication to deferring rewards (Avoiding the crippling, criminal/infant-like, demand for instant gratification) by hard physical and academic work ; Cleaving to the support and other advantages of two-parent (One of each gender) families; Honoring scholars over criminals; And, Disproportionally avoiding violations of law.

The Costs Of Wars

After considering the objections to the USA's deployment of forces near Iran and the risk of a shooting war by such actions, I must ask what would have been the costs of France and Great Britain stopping Hitler at the Western border of Czechoslovakia (Which contained its best natural and augmented defenses) by sending divisions of troops there as compared with the costs (In blood and treasure) of World War II. It appears that such a deployment of forces would have put halt to his land grab there and if, and only if, like confrontations, on land and by sea, were executed in other such places against Hitler and, for that matter, Mussolini and Tojo.

I am a veteran of dangerous military and (Paid & unpaid) civilian service as directed towards the physical safety of my nation's People and that of its allies. I, quickly and greatly, discount the views about military risks inflicted by politicians, "journalists" and academics who have not put themselves at real and ongoing physical risks to protect their fellow humans.

Duty Before Power

In the past I have noted that many in political power have never put themselves at bodily risk in defense of their fellow Americans.

Some of those who did have been such as: The planter George Washington;  Storekeeper, Flatboatsman and Postmaster Abraham Lincoln; And, Haberdasher Harry S. Truman---And that by service in dangerous military actions. [For myself, I did enlist in the US Navy and found myself in one of the six-or-so most dangerous, enlisted grade, specialties; After that service I did obtain a university degree, was employed by a "Department Of Corrections", working with some dangerous criminals. and assisted fire fighters in putting down a fire involving many gallons of very dangerous solvents.]

Other, parallel, dangerous work as can be had (Even by females in this era) to demonstrate the willingness to take real risks for the "common good" include (But are not limited to): Full time and volunteer fire fighters (Including those who combat forest fires); Peace officers; Guards in maximum and super-maximum security prisons; Doing "community work" and living in such places as the South sides of Chicago and Los Angeles; And, doing such work and living in the rural areas of

Sub-Saharan Africa or the Favelas of Brazil.

Those ladies (Yes, I know that I am not "politically correct") who seek power (Or success in academia) in later life can demonstrate such risk-taking by carrying, birthing and educating (In the broadest sense) their children to law-abiding and contributing places in our Republic.

In more recent times I have noted the "snowflakes" and "professional victims" in our colleges and universities have, most exactly, demonstrated that lack of dangerous service to others. It appears that such lesser creatures, even lacking that service, assume that they are entitled to attack the free speech (ie The necessary, but not sufficient, basis of academic freedom).

Perhaps, those "snowflakes" would be less likely to melt in the real world, after leaving the womb of too many schools, if they were exposed-to and hardened-by some, at risk, work in the real world before matriculation. If not required, I suggest that admission and scholarship officers give such "servants of the people" massive priority over others and more so over those who have been buying their way into universities.

Those who hire faculty or other school employees would do magnify their schools by looking to the same prior services.

Responding To False Accusations (In Academia)

Those accused (Outside of our criminal courts) of crimes or violations of professional or (In academia) standards or rules should take legal counsel. (nb I am not an attorney nor do I have any financial interests in those who practice law.)

I suggest that any person so accused demand that those complaining submit their detailed statements, in writing, on oath/affirmation as makes liars subject to: Criminal penalties for "Perjury" or the like of "False Swearing"; And, to such civil actions as could result in the assignment of damages, punitive damages, attorneys fees and costs against the defendants---At bankruptcy-plus levels.

In certain academic cases, such damages (At the same level) might well be sought from university/college presidents and the regents/trustees or other governing board-members, as individuals, of those schools who fail to protect the academic-rights or contractual provisions of persecuted faculty.

Hatred Missed By House Democrats

It appear (Please correct me if I am in error) that the specific, racist/other hatred, missed by the Democrat-initiated resolution against all other forms of various forms of hatred, were the following:
1. The documented fact that Black thugs select our, on the basic of race, Whites for their criminal attacks at a rate many, many, times the reverse---Which is a very gross, racist, hatred of Whites; And,
2. The ideological hatred of those (Often on university/college campuses) who express their hatred of those who disagree with them by such, Fascist, means: As "ringing bells" or shouting-down/speaking-over those who are attempting to exercise constitutional, free-speech, rights (eg As a form of academic-freedom); Inflicting serious injuries by very criminal acts (eg As recently demonstrated st UC-Berkeley); Threats, of physical violence as provide a "clear and present danger of death or great bodily harm" as offered by such groups as AntiFa [Whose storm-troopers seem to avoid such places as Texas and Wisconsin where law-abiding (And legally presumed sane) citizens hold thousands of permits/licences to carry concealed weapons].

That hatred also-and-clearly extends to: Such as Maxine Waters who  has, very directly, called for potentially dangerous harassment of those who are against her views---A call which has been followed by various scum-critters; And, those orthodox-and-murderous Muslims who hate all individuals, groups, organization, true-religions and nations which resist their horrid teachings and the, also, horrid actions they inflict on the World---For the last 1400-years and to this day.

"Microaggressions" & "Snowflakes"

The world is a very dangerous place filled with murderous individuals (Who act alone, in pairs, in small groups or bands, quasi-nations and even full nations). Those animals inflict "Macroaggressions" against others as include murder, rape and robbery.

Examples of such critters include: Those waging Jihad against "unbelievers" in loyal obedience to the unalterable commands of Islam; Latino "drug lords" and gangs (eg MS-13) operating across our too little protected border; And, our nation's own Black thugs who select-out, on the basis of race, White targets for their criminal assaults at a rate many, many, times the reverse.

It is the case that such "tender" creatures (eg "Queer" Faculty at Williams College in recent days) are converting others to such be "professional victims" who, after leaving the womb of academia, will melt away in the heat of the real world---And, likely, blame others for their inability to face reality.

I must also note that claims of "microaggressions" are: Commonly unsupported by such facts as place, time, persons and verifiable acts as would define human behavior as intentional and beyond random behaviors; And, are a sub-class of the all too common, on university/college campuses, of hate crime hoaxes.

Islam & Science Today

A very long time ago there were two "Golden Ages" in Muslim ruled lands as chiefly were in the Iberian peninsula and centered about Baghdad. During those too short years Muslims did:
1. Take in and share with the West that scientific and other knowledge that existed in India, Greece, Egypt and other Pre-Islamic lands; And,
2. Both improved some of that learning and added to it.

However, the ultra-orthodox theologians of Islam found much of that new knowledge as a threat to the teachings-and-commands of Mohammed (Of Mecca & Medina) and, through orthodox rulers, suppressed such "seeking" as would now be called "research".

With the exception of the products of weapons technology and, for the rules, Western medicine, that distrust and dislike (Hate?) of study outside of the Koran, Hadith and some limited-and-derivative sources still continues as well-and-exactly exampled by:
3. Muslims' murder of Western medical staff bring Polio vaccine for the children in Afghanistan; And,
4. The massacre, by Boko Haram, of technical school students for studying "Western Knowledge". [Those monsters also followed Islamic permission, for those waging Jihad, and kidnapped young girls and "Sexually Used" (ie Raped) them.]

"Religious Test" At Public Universities

The Constitution of the USA prohibits any religious test for appointment to any employment by the United States.

Some public universities (eg The University of Colorado) demands that faith-based organizations allow its officers to be of any or no faith. I must wonder if such a demand is unconstitutional.

As such demands have been, for the most part, been made on Christian organizations, such may be made to advance the religion of Atheism ***. That is a most clear violation of the current Law on the "separation of church and state".

"Toxic Masculinity" & The APA

Some years ago I defined "Femininity" as the distilled essence of the best of what separates women from men. That quality is not an aspect of sexuality or physical beauty. (One of the most "feminine" woman I knew of was the actress Helen Hayes---In her later years. I have known very young girls who were very feminine well before becoming, physical, women.)

Then, what is "Masculinity"?  As a male I find that harder to define---Without being accused of
self-description or self-inflation.

Perhaps, it is that, greater, willingness to be very forward in risking blood, suffering, limbs and life to protect family, friends, nation and what is otherwise held precious. (Yes, there are females who do so by, for example, police, firefighter and military service; But, they do not seem to stay in those good works for even a small part of the years which males commit to such service.)

Of course, that willingness can be perverted by the influence of tyrannical or insane leaders (Such as
Hitler, Stalin or others of that ilk). For the most part the soldiers of those horrid creatures were more loyal to their comrades-in-arms than to any such mis-leaders (Which characteristic may be much more common to real men than to others).

Why does the American Psychological Association and so many other postulate "Toxic Masculinity" as a clinical-disorder or social-fault or, even, a sin-like disorder?

I will be non-diplomatic (ie "Snarky") and state that those persons are either biological males who are not masculine or biological-females who are, in the common speech, "castrating bitches." or "butches".

The New & The Old Socialists

As some of the "New Democrats" describe themselves as "Democratic SOCIALISTS" we should all remember the "track record" of the following persons who began or described themselves as socialists: Adolf Hitler; Joseph Stalin; Mao; Pol Pot; Fidel Castro; And, the current and penultimate, tyrannical, rulers of Venezuela.

We should look at those "track records" as to: Assassinations; Show trials; Torture; Genocide; Starvation of their people while remaining well fed with the best foods; Destruction of free speech and academic freedom---As parallels their taking modern weapons away those who might be opposed to them or their night-raiding police; And, attacks on Christianity in those nations where it previously existed and supported some, better, levels of morality and justice. 

In fact, we must examine those new "Democratic SOCIALISTS" to see which of those goals they support or, in fact, have already begun attacking.

Medieval Universities & Title IX Vs. Law & Rights

Many of our publicly funded universities (And their officers/officials) still hold to the Medieval concept that they are above the laws (ie Including constitutional rights) as bind and limit the actions of other public organizations (And their officers/officials).

Those schools (And officers/officials) have "created", sexual and other offenses, as are very poorly defined to the extent that most reasonable persons (eg Especially for university students or employees) can not know what is forbidden and punishable by any violations of those vague mandates.

Many schools aggravate those violations of their ill-defined "rules" by failing to offer even minimum "due process of law" by using "Star Chamber Court" like "hearings" which fail to provide the following.

1. Right to sufficient-time prior (Written) notice-of/access-to the: “Charges” against the citizen; The Laws/rules/regulations alleged to be violated; The names and other identifying information of all witnesses who have provided testimony or other evidence (eg Documents/physical-evidence) as to the “charges”.
2. The right to have legal counsel present at any hearings and to fully represent the accused.
3. The right to compel personal testimony of witnesses and to have that testimony given on oath/affirmation (Allowing for criminal or civil punishment for perjury/false-swearing if such is inflicted) AND to cross-examine those witnesses.
4. The right to a hearing before a neutral hearing examiner.
5. The right to a written decision from that examiner.
6. The right to appeal any such decision to a court-of-law based on the facts, the law and state and federal constitutions if a public institution is involved OR to the highest authority in a private organization.

To my mind and to meet legal and constitutional standards, any behavior as may be a violation of law (eg "Sexual Assault", "Disorderly Conduct") must be:

A. Referred in writing (Best on oath or affirmation) to a neutral and professional police agency for a fair and honest investigation;

B. If, and only if, those investigators determine that there may be grounds for a criminal prosecution, the facts must be referred to the appropriate prosecuting attorney for determination as to issuing charges or "presentment" to a Grand Jury (According to the local Law); 

C. If charges or an indictment come forth our time-proven trial system (Based on full "due process of law") would determine guilt/innocence; And,

D. If a finding of "Guilty" is had, the Court disposes of the matter according to Law.

For myself, any student-at (Or employee-of) a public university who is not provided one of the above "due process" procedures, for an alleged violation should initiate a civil-rights-violation suit against the particular school AND, as individuals, the rights violating officers/officials.

A Primary Human Right For Students

A (Or, "THE") primary human right for students is to be protected from criminal attackers.

In a nation with more guns than People:  It is and will be impossible to take firearms (And other, some more dangerous weapons) from: Criminals and"crazies"; And, those Americans who, very reasonably, know that the public authorities can not (And, sometimes, will not) provide immediate and effective protection from those who would murder or rape or otherwise maim-and-injure them.

In our large school buildings the usual, one, armed officers may be many minutes away from some armed monster who has begun the process of massacring students and others----WHERE EACH SECOND EQUALS ONE MORE DEATH.

There is, at least one, safe-and-secure mode of having firearms as readily available to teachers in class-rooms. The training to make teachers qualified to defend students in the short distances in classroom takes very little time.

THE ESSENTIAL QUESTION TO PUT TO ALL TEACHERS IS: WHICH IS MORE IMPORTANT TO YOU, THE LIVES OF YOUR STUDENTS OR YOUR: "FEELINGS" ABOUT GUNS; OR YOUR HOPE FOR SOME "PIE IN THE SKY" & IMPROBABLE OR NONEXISTENT ALTERNATIVES TO PUTTING DOWN SUCH DANGEROUS CREATURES.

The "primary human right", cited above, applies to all innocent humans "in a clear and present danger of death or great bodily harm" without the immediate and effective protection of civil authorities.
